Editorial Policy

These principles guide how we research, write, review, publish, and update blog posts.

Accuracy and sourcing

We check material factual claims against primary records, specialist sources, or multiple independent sources when a primary record is unavailable. Every post links the principal evidence used in its latest review. Opinion and interpretation are identified through context and should not be presented as settled fact.

Fairness and independence

People and organizations facing meaningful criticism receive a reasonable opportunity to respond. Editorial decisions are made independently from advertisers, sponsors, donors, and outside political interests.

AI-assisted work

Automation may assist with organization, drafting support, and technical tasks, but an editor remains responsible for verification, context, originality, and the final published post. Original AI-assisted editorial illustrations are labeled in their captions and should not be read as documentary evidence. We do not knowingly publish invented quotes, sources, or facts.

Updates and disclosures

Material changes are dated and explained when they alter the meaning of a story. Developing casualty totals, market figures and official claims are labeled. Conflicts of interest, sponsored material, illustrative images and relevant reporting limitations are disclosed clearly.

Service to readers

Posts explain why a topic matters, summarize the key sourced points, and identify the next evidence or decision worth watching. Financial content is informational and does not provide individualized investment advice.
